Piece for flute and orchestra (9 instruments: flute, oboe, clarinets, celtic harp, string quintet), dedicated to my friend Marc Goldstein. inspired by Irish music, this suite, where the flute has a rather concertante role, is in three parts The first part is a slow air (0/3'39) the second part is built on a jig tempo, the third part develops on a much more binary rhythm. The whole is very marked by Irish music, but also, with a wink to jazz and Bach.... Interpretation : Hal and the Vienna Ensemble .
